The Centre has approved negotiations for building six advanced submarines in India with German collaboration under Project 75 India. Mazagaon Dockyards Limited and ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems are expected to start negotiations by the end of this month. The submarines will feature Air Independent Propulsion systems, enhancing the Indian Navy’s operational readiness in the Indian Ocean region.
